Okay, I’m really sold on Robert Downey Jr. I’m really sold on the Adi Granov designs. This movie is getting ready to look SO GOOD.
Which makes me ask one, tiny question: Where’s the publicity for the Incredible Hulk?
It’s dry as a bone out there for awesome new news of the second try at a Hulk movie that’s watchable over 15%. Sure, Iron Man’s coming out first and I’m sure they want to get the word out on the movie with all the hip stars, but … not a peep? Not a desktop or a concept sketch or an interview or eight or … something? The website is dreadfully empty, the pics we have are not exactly telling… I don’t know. Not exactly inspiring the same selling points as Mr. Flashy Iron Man over here.
Give Norton some love, people.

I’ve heard that Norton rewrote much of the Hulk script once he got cast, which does not raise optimism in my soul.
The thing is that Hulk is like the monster in a horror movie. You don’t necessarily want to have his appearance spoiled, because it’s supposed to be a shock when he gets cut loose.
You’ll notice, though, that we haven’t seen any true “action” shots of the Granov armor (i.e. no fights); only the Mark I, built in a cave armor has been seen doing anything other than flying. That’s what they’re saving for the actual movie, for which I’m happy.
tavella: Yeah. Let’s face it, the last movie was such a disappointment, I’d almost think that a Norton rewrite would be a good thing, considering it’s kind of status quo for him to do stuff like that. But on the other hand…
Kurt: Horror movie, sure. But think about how bad the last one was. You think the studio would want to kind of bolster support, whether through cast interviews, a better website, something that inspires confidence in a movie that wasn’t so good last time. Just sayin’….
