Unless. . . Super-Skrull and Paibok both have hypnosis powers. Is that a common Skrull ability, because then NotBlack Bolt could have hoodwinked everyone, except probably crazy Maximus. Of course, if a Skrull is Black Bolt, then where's the real deal? A lot of Skrull planets got blown up by the Annihilation Wave, and the rest of them are under Ravenous' control (until that baby Annihilus grows up, or the Phalanx take over, whichever comes first). Bendis and Quesada have already said flat out that Tony isn't. It's a Bendis/Avengers story, so it's not going to be Xavier or Reed -- those characters are owned by different writers and editors. That leaves Strange, Namor, and Black Bolt. And Strange is the one that Bendis has the most control over. Plus my belief is that the New Avengers exist basically to be proven wrong so that they (and of course the readers that this is meant to convince) will see that Stark is right and the hero of everything. We've already gotten a strong hint that at least the baby is a Skrull, yet the supposed spells don't reveal it.
